    First post on Casio

I bought a G-Shock not long after they came out in the mid 80's. I remember that I paid about $36 for it. I wore it for 6 years, when a co-worker said that he liked it and would give me $20 for it. Which gladly accepted. I took the $20 and bought another one. Price was at $54, and the watch was a little bigger. I wore that watch for some time, and even cracked the crystal; but watch was still WP! I may or may not still have that watch as I have bought new watches and have worn those, one was a company anniversary gift. I did buy a watch this year which I had long dreamed of, the Omega Seamaster. Wow, what a watch!
I'm going to buy a new G-Shock, as I do like the new ones with the atomic-solar technology. I'll have to seek some advice from y'all later as I have gone quite a bit long here. Later.

    Welcome from another Seamaster guardian

I still like my mechanicals, but Gs are just all sorts of fun! Hang around and you'll see.

I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

The main problem is there are so many choices! G-Shocks have come a long way.

^ They sure have. I prefer like oldies myself. They sure don't make'em like they used to.

Welcome to the forum - you could make history and be the first to post on here, continue posting and reading on here and yet end up with just one G Shock !

But where would be the fun in that :D
