    First wrist shot...

...of the GW-9110 (as far as I am aware of).

It's a true beauty in real life and as comfortable as expected. I skipped the older atomic Gulfman just because of the uncomfortable strap that I've experienced with the G-9100.

Nice wrist shot, what was it about the G-9100 strap that was not good, and how is this one different.

Looks like a warmed over 7900 module / display (and it looks better imho)

The old strap was quite stiff and has two ridges which have a tendency to cut into the wrist. The new strap is the one first used on the GW-9200 Riseman, soft and single-ridged.

Yep, it is. And yes, I think so as well. It has no background color in the windows, the crossbar looks much thinner than in the GW-7900 (possibly a sheet of metal instead of plastic) and the top surface of the bar looks more elegantly done. The thin background lines used behind the date are familiar from the Riseman as well and IMHO add a classy touch, too.

    Hi MRG-1000,

That Gulfman looks very sharp. Much better in real than I expected and far more better than the stock photo's!

    Cheers,

I love it, that is exactly what I have been looking for. An atomic Gulfman with the moon and tide feature.

Please be so kind as to let me know where I can get one and how much they run.

Looks nice but they still use the smaller of the two eyes for the moon phase opting to have the nice big one for the critical graphics rotation that tells you "time is passing" (I figured that out on my own). I'll never get that.
