I've this DW-8600 Fisherman in the standard livery:

This was bought about 3 yrs ago. Didn't wear it much but the bezel crumbled away while in storage. I managed to buy a replacement bezel in black and a ICERC bezel & strap for good measure as I knew relacement parts are hard to find.
The replacement bezel lasted a year and crumbled away due to bezel rot too! Local supplies of replacement bezels have since ran out and I finally have to use the ICERC set as seen in the following pics:

    The complete wardrobe change.
One thing I've noticed about the 'jelly' material on the bezel and strap is that they seem less brittle than the standard black ones.
Anyway, what do you guys thing of its new look?

Looks better than the original, IMO. Of course, the ICERC band will yellow over time, especially if you actually wear it. But then, you can always dye it black or some other color with some RIT. Where did you find the ICERC band?

yea, where did you get the band? ive been thinking about getting a few odd jelly bands and bezel bits and pieces to try out some dye colors/techniques before i go ruining an expensive froggy or something.

    Hi Brendan and Kung-fusion.
Like I mentioned in the original post, The replacement parts were purchased from a local supplier (in Singapore, Marco Corp.) who has since ran out of parts for the Fisherman.
I don't really mind the 'jelly' yellowing with age, just dye it to another color, maybe a turquoise, or just plain black.
