    Flea Market "mystery" G

I am just home from a local fleamarket.
A watch seller had a G on the table.
I have been unable to find the model on the net.

It looked very, very similar to a G-9050 or 9052 in navy blue,
but the light button was completely yellow, as well as all others.
    Not just the lettering.

The strap had a black (plastic?) buckle and had long "tabs" underneath covering a bit of the case underneath to raise it above the skin.
    Something DW-900... was written underneath.
The asking price was only 20 Euros, but the man had performed a battery change, so i passed.

this bezel seems to fit, but in blue :

    What model was that ?
    Did i make a mistake ?

Was it a rare dw-9000 maybe ? That model seems to fit.

    Likely something similar to this?

    DW-003

And you can see a different color with the wrist protectors here.

It was a DW-9000,i am sure now.
    Did some advanced searching here.
The bezel i linked was a wrong one.

Are the blue 9000s with yellow buttons valuable ?

that would be a G-Lide right? i'd say 20 Euro's is about spot on, depending on condition, there not rare though by any means.

I know what you mean, it's from the same DW-9000 series as the one shown below, the difference being blue bezel and yellow EL button on the one you saw instead black bezel and white button like the one shown here.

These belong to the International DW-9000 Illuminator series, very popular in Europe, US and the rest of the Asia but never released in Japan in this combination.

In BNIB or mint state rare DW-9000 like the one you're talking about can cost you a pretty penny these days

    cheers!

Here's the caseback shot showing the lug tabs DW-9000 series is known for.
These tabs are actually a bonus as they keep the watch steady and stop the watch twisting and 'playing' around the wrist while worn.

    Thanks.
The watch was about 90 percent condition.
I will be looking again today, as its a two-day festivity.
    Maybe i´ll catch it.
