    FNG introduction - New G-Shock

    Hi all,

Been lurking here for a bit, admiring your guys awesome collections

Had a hand-me-down 5600 when I was a kid, but lost it somewhere along the road, so today I rejoin the G owners club Went w/ the DW5600B-1AV and I absolutely love it! I'll try to get some pics posted in the next couple days since I know we all love looking at pics of G's.

    Cheers,

    Brandon,

That watch is sweet. Did you get it off of the net or at a local store?
I am new to the forum too purchasing a DW5600E today.
Glad to have you on board.

I bought it at Macy's (a local department store) for the MSRP. I had found one on fleabay with a BIN that was about $15 bellow MSRP, I figured spending a few bucks more to make sure I got all the proper packaging & could easily return if I had any problems was worth it.

I love the band on this model!

FNG!!! I haven't heard that term for a while

I've got that very same model, it's a peach, so comfy and the stealth look is a real bonus, especially when you're doing the Ninja thing coming home from the pub. :-D

Nice details on that DW5600B-1AV - and it's not just a "reversed display", the 24 hour pictograph is a little different to the regular 5600 as far as I can see. Beautiful watch!

I read somewhere that it was issued as a tribute to the MA-1 flying jacket produced by Alpha Industries, (hence the orange lining on the strap) but I've been unable to verify if that's true.

    Thanks for sharing Brandon.

I prefer the bigger more masculine models myself

Are you saying us lovers of 'smaller' G's are girlies? :-D
