    A Froggy and something yellow

    Hi,
well everybody "needs" a Frogman, right? Only that so far none were really comfortable on my wrist and the newer ones are also way too expensive for my small budget. The DW-8200s I had were too big and uncomfy - so I can't wear the GF-8250 either despite the fact that I love the design. So I had a look at the GW-200 but prices are rising and the cheapest I could find were even more expensive than the GF-8250. So just when I thought I can live without a Frogman I saw the pic of the black dyed DW-9900 with the metal keeper - was that Tsip85 or Kung-Fusion who posted that? I can't find the thread. And just a few weeks later a DW-9900 pops up for sale on one of the German watch-forums I visit. There was also another model for sale from the same seller so - two birds with one stone and a little unwrapping:

    So what have we here:

Anybody who read the "WHYI June"-thread will know:
a LNWB (like new without box) yellow GL-7500!! Hooray - since I also scored the red one on ebay I'll only need three more (which are probably the hardest to find however) to complete the series. The yellow resin looks absolutely pristine - it almost outshines the Froggy.

With the help of Kung's tutorial it was no problem to open the Froggy - however I was too lazy to remove the strap which didn't really help in getting the screwback back in place - did cost me some nerves but I made it :

and another one from the GL-7500 just because it looks so great:

NICE! You don't see these two often.

Thanks guys - I only wish I knew which model DW-9900 that is - the stealth bezel might be custom as I never saw a DW-9900 without color on the bezel. At least there's none in the GPS (G-Shock Perfect Search).

    They look terrific Sedi, congrats!
The Frog looks almost un-Frogly classy . And the 7510 looks great in yellow, what colors you're still missing?
    Cheers!

    Thanks Luciano,
I now have the navy blue and yellow GL-7500 and a red one incoming which I got on ebay. Still missing is the light blue one which is hard to find in good condition - so far I only saw some that were already discolored or stained. Then there's the two "Hawaiian Surf" models in black and white which I think are even harder to find than the light blue one.

    Yay!

Joe does the Frog feel then? All good?

    Looks ace.

Never seen the other one before but when you are green every day is a school day.

The 7900's are my favourites, although the 56s are currently my focus. But nothing is excluded, except pink Risemans.

Froggy feels right at home on my skinny wrist . Much more comfy than a DW-8200. And because of the Ti it weighs less than a DW-5000SL - the SL weighs 75gr - the Froggy 66.

Thanks! I think I cannot include them in my sig however - there's a limit on the number of letters it can contain .

    Cheers, Sedi
