Frogman - Anyone Replace the Bezel on the Glorious Gold with a Master Blue?

I have a Glorious Gold Frogman (GW225E) and was thinking about replacing the bezel and strap with the Master Blue version (GW225C).

Has anyone done this, and if so, do you have pics?

Also, does anyone know for sure that the two are interchangeable?

    Thanks for the input!

I've never changed a bezel and strap before. I've been reading up on it. From what I understand, you just remove the four screws on the side and the two on the top? at the one o'clock and five o'clock positions? Just pull the bezel off and put the new one on? It sounds too easy. Any tips?

4 screws on the side ONLY. The two on top are decorative. It is rather easy IF you use the proper tools as to no scratch the gold bezel/lugs. Go slooooooww, and you should be alright.

Order the 4 screws when you get the bezel better safe than sorry. the bezel is very easy. The strap is another thing. took me longer than I thought it would. It is a very snug fit.

I'd done it the other way around. It's very easy.

Re: Frogman - Anyone Replace the Bezel on the Glorious Gold with a Master Blue?

Thanks for all the input. I tried it out last night on a fake Frogman that I ordered on Ebay. Didn't know it was fake until I got it, and as you can imagine, I wasn't very happy. I've taken bands off of watches for years, and I can tell you, the replacement was pretty easy on this band compared to others I've tried.

I posted a "Wanted to Trade" ad in the For Sale / Trade Section if anyone's interested.

Four G-Shocks in great condition for a single Frogman. I'd like to start a thread in this section since this is where all the Frogman owners are. That's against the rules right?

I said took longer than I though it would. The angel I thought it would work was wrong. When I got it right it went in. Just me of course.
