    Frogman band question

The zulu bands with 5 metal loops on them, will they work with Frogman? I don't see how you'd get the band on the watch as the pins are not what secures the watch but the little adaptors which require the band be fed through them. With the extra loops on the band they would prohibit being put through the adaptors, am I think the right way about this? Here are some images for clarity.

Nate, I think you *might* be ok. The extra hardware should not interfere with the band feeding through. I've taken some quick and dirty pictures of my 5-ring Maratac Zulu to show you how the watch mounts:

As you can see, you just feed the Zulu through the springbars and then through the bottom two rings.

However...you see how the bottom rings sit right up against the watch lugs? I don't know how that will jive with the adapter.

Wow, the design of the band was not obvious at all to me from the image I posted. Thanks for the insite.

    Here's how it looked on a DW-6900MS:

a bit of a tight fit but on the wrist it was ok:

However I think a 3-ring Zulu will fit better. It might be that the Frogman is too big for the 5-ring to fit.

    Re: Frogman band question

I did notice the gap between the buckle and the fixed additional 2 loops was of concern as to whether it would permit enough space for the watch to fit. I think I'll forgo these and stay with the 3-piecers. Thanks for all the help everyone.
