    Frogman choice: GWF1000 vs GF8250

I'm not concerned about the atomic sync feature and like the 'look' more on the 8250. Does this choice really come down to cosmetics?

From a fit standpoint, I much prefer the GF-8250 to the GWF-1000

As far as functions, I think the modules of the two are identical, save for the atomic. I almost wonder if you could swap the modules.

The only way you can know for sure is to try them in person.

The GF-8250 is a surprisingly wearable watch.

I have both, and the 8250 wears a little smaller. For pure wearablity the 8250 wears much better, just my two cents.

Ps. I have a GWF-1000D to and that watch is giantic compared to the others.

Not sure... Does the 8250 have a tide graph/moon age display? And does it do world time and have the ability to display the world time on the main screen like the GWF-1000 can do? I used to own a couple 8250s but don't now.

I can also say that the 8250 fit me MUCH better than the GWF-1000. It was much more comfortable on the wrist.

However - they both fall short when compared to the GWF-D1000, IMHO.

I used to have the old DW8250 'air divers' (yellow resin, steel not Ti) and found it mostly wearable.

I think the cases of the dw8250 and gf8250 are identical.

I owned both the GWF-1000 and GF-8230 for a brief period of time and to be honest, I like the GF-8230 more due to the slightly less bulky size (I have really small wrist LOL)

Function wise I think they are mostly similar just minus the MB6 function (which doesn't work in where I am) :)
