thanx for this notice (with the larger numbers)

btw, does anybody has a tip, were to buy (on the net) for a good price?

I think there's a sticky at the top of the forum with a list of stores people like to shop at. There's also the ever popular ebay, and for me Yahoo Auctions:

    Re: Frogman infos & pics

Let me say first off I love Frogs.
I currently have 3 (and have owned over 10 different Frogs.)
A Braz, a DB and a Plain Jane blue gw-200 (no design in the back light).

Having said that.......the ONLY advantage to having a Frog (for a diver) is the ability to enter your blood type and C-Card info. And that's only useful if your dive buddy knows it's there. Joe Blow rescuer isn't going to know that your personal info is stored in your Casio watch.
Frogs have no depth sensor and the dive timer is a glorified stopwatch/chrono.
My 14 year old DW-6100 will time my dives via stopwatch mode, has the same water resistance as my Frog, will tell me what the temp is and when the sun is going to set..
I use a Suunto dive computer for diving. It calculates dive time, surface intervals, fly/no fly times, surface temp/water temp and holds my last 10 dives in memory.
A Frogman is no dive computer, but again I love them.
If your going to buy a Frog do it b/c you like the design, the rarity, the cool factor but not as a replacement for a dive comp...
Just my $.02 and dive safely!
    Chris
P.S. here's to holding out hope that they make Froggies atomic, with a depth sensor, a surface interval timer and a general full function dive comp.
A Møøse once bit my sister...
    Artego Caribbean, 300M
    Casio (too many G's)
    Dagaz(Zero I),
    Gruppo Gamma MK III Vanguard
    Omega(2254.50 SMP)
    Seiko(1G custom Monster, custom 6309)
Follow my G-Shock on its' world tour.... https://forums.watchuseek.com/f17/g-...-a-705360.html
Mynd you, møøse bites Kan be pretty nasti...
