I like the idea of a Bearbrick collaboration, but this one just isn't my cup of tea. I like the negative display, but the colors are a bit off putting.

It's got a retail price of about $225 USD and they're making 1,000 of them. And the Bearbrick comes separately for around $15 USD.

wow 225? that's a lot for this watch. i would get it if they make a different strap color.

Wow, I should have expect Medicom to collaborate with G-Shock. Awesome. I guess it will sell out fast, sind Brearbrick is very popular in Japan. It looks nice flashy, but I think I have to second Riley. I would have expect a different G, maybe a special jelly version (Hé Casio, isn't that a nice next Medicom collaboration idea???).

    Cheers,

Thats awesome , If the strap did end up being a bit too much wouldn't be that hard to replace would it?

I like that look except for the band...

...they could have done something much more interesting with that.

This looks like a big disappointment! Futura2000 was a way ahead of his time graffiti artist who incorporated a lot of abstract figures and aliens into his art. He made it big in New York in the 90s and went on to design most of covers for independent MoWAx records - remember UNKLE, DJ Shadow and DJ Krush?

Nothing of that comes across in this g-shock model. All that remains is his signature on the dial. Now how much thought did he really put into that?
