    G-100-1BVMES Your Opinion

    Hi, it's a basic watch.

I see it is not often discussed here... what's your opinion?
I am attracted because it's ana-digi movement and it seems an interesting piece... for a low price... but the size?

    What do you think?

its a good watch and still one of the best (martial) looks of all ana-digis IMO. ironically this is even one of the best casio ana-digis when it comes down to the lume on the hands and markers - way better (brighter and longer lasting) than what I have seen from other ana-digi G's.

the module however is surely outdated and lacks unfortunately a CDT. also I miss a fifth light button, but that is a general problem with all ana-digis I believe. (thats why I don't buy any ana-digi no more).

all in all a solid G and it was my very first, so I keep it for sentimental reasons, but don't wear it not very often anymore (maybe once or twice in two month)

    regards, holger

It's the very first G-Shock I bought and I would never part with it. It's the most classic looking ana/digi G available from what I've seen. The digital display isn't up to much, and spends about a third of it's time obscured by the hands, so I see it as primarily an analogue G-Shock (at a glance it almost looks like a pure analogue). It's chunky, it's stealthy and I enjoy wearing it when functions other than telling the time aren't likely to be necessary.

    I don't have a 6900, but here it is between a DW-9052 and a Mudman:

The button layout meant that I was forever moving the hands unintentionally, and then having to complete a whole rotation to get them back to where they should be. Not a problem if you wear the watch all the time, and get used to the buttons.

It is actually a classic G, though.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...
