    Hi Ecalzo,

I always like the Hamletian tone of your posts.

The G100 is one of the most basic G analogs. Think of it as sort of a DW5600 analog equivalent. It has very basic functions (day and date, digital time display --independent from the hands--, 24 hours chronograph without split time function, and a second time zone display). The lume is weak, but it works for me.

I like the red hour hand a lot.

    So I say right choice.

Sorry for my shaky pics; hope them help:

it's a shame the hands and digital display aren't linked. i really like the look of this one.

I am thinking about buying a G-100. It looks very good. I bought a G300 which I do not really like the looks of. The indexes (I don´t know what it is called in english but maybe that is correct) which marks every five minutes are of "mirror type". It looks a little blingy and cheap in my opinion.

Is it the same on G100?

    Hi again Raveot,

I answered your PM before seeing your post here. I sent you two photos so you can see the indexes are not blingy.

usually I would agree, but since this model doesn't have world-time it makes a lot sense, because you can set up a second timezone this way.

But you can set the digital time and the hands to different time.
So there is a limited 2 time zone functionality.

I've had a G-100 for about 4 yrs. The Red and White lettering started to wear out so I stealthed the letters out to completely black.

    Looks mean.
