    Wink G-5500 comparison and Wristshots

I don't have much time to post these two days (I have two major gigs tonight and tommorow night, and have to go there right after work). I managed to take some Q&D pics of the G-5500 inbetween experiments today (with loads of students sighing in my neck...)

    Here some quick pics:

    Cheers,

    Sjors

Whoa! They're pretty cool. I wonder ig they're going to do a military green camo one.

Question: Can this one be Wongster-modded?

Looks to me the case may be too big for a regular 'Wongster-mod'.

The protectors from the 5600 may not fit.

    Hello Sjors,
please forgive the excessive bumpage of this and the other thread. It's good to see these comparison shot.

That model is fantastic. In terms of aesthetics and size. It has real presence. Actually it reminds me of the one of those watches you like,
you know, the "street" ones. With the wide material straps. I belive your site has a negative display 6900 with a such a custom strap.

Those buttons on the side, are they countersunk under the bezel? They don't look like it. I have a shock resistant Timex Ironman from a thrift store that has a mangled set button because the bezel didn't protect it well enough (it came that way).

What do you tell all your students when you take photos of them?

Uh, this particular picture... Uh: "can you please look into the camera now, I have enough pictures of you with your eyes closed"

I believe that were my exact words.... There are about 6 pictures with closed eyes or stupid faces. And oh yeah, this one was for me, so I asked her to take of the glasses for me (as they get significant less points as seen without them. I also told them I wanted to let you see that I have students in the Lab (I had a big bunch of them actually at that time). They all had a good laugh when I placed the post, because from where she site she can almost read the computer.

    Cheers,

    Sjors
