Just got mine today from Singapore. I got a lot of images in comparison to some Frogmans but will have to wait till my son returns from school with my memory card reader to get them online.
-BIG... bigger than 200 series Frogman
-BIG BUTTONS... this think has a brutal feel to it
-much lighter than Frogman (I like heavier, personal preference though)
-24CDT nice, no silly 8 cycle limitation
-CDT not settable to second, less nice
-CDT adjustable up and down vs just up like the Frogman
-must cycle through all modes to get to beginning, also less nice
-excellent color combination
-under flaps are not bothersome at all
-band is a bit small on underside vs watch bulk
two hold band would have been nice touch
I'm not sure but I think adapters for putting a nato/zulu band on a Frogman will work on this watch. Will have to remove the flaps for sure but I might give it a try and if it works get an olive band as the Gulfman type band (near the clasp) is the only disappointment so far.
If the GW-7900 is this size I'm getting it for sure. Look for pictures later tonight. Even with the dark color this looks big, I figure the white, red or even the blue model will look HUGE on the wrist.
EDIT: I pulled off the flaps and the band. The 24mm adapters for my Frogman work even better on the 7900. Only trouble is either the screws for the flaps/fins stick out or (what I did) you can just leave them off. That means the buttons are the only thing holding the bezel on though. Seems pretty secure so I'm keeping it that way. The fins got a bit bother some after a while of wearing them. The zulu is much more comfortable and keep the watch more secure. Now to find an olive zulu or even the low light black I guess.
