I like the G7900 but not enough to buy it after looking at it. The digits are small to me for the size of the watch. I have the Stealth GA 100 and love it. It currently gets the most wrist time of all my watches

My vote goes to the G7900 mainly because it is more usable in the dark. GA100 doesn't have EL backlight on its digital displays.

Beware the GA-100 orange LED make the Red analogue hour hand hard to see in the night, the Stealth version of GA-100 with White hands is much readable in dim conditions. Anyway, I vote for G7900 if compare with this GA100 version.

    +1

of all the many g-shock's i have purchased to date, i can honestly say that the G-7900 is among the top three, probably the best overall. it even rivals my all-time faves (G-800BD and G-7710). for legibility, functionality and operability i simply can't recommend it highly enough.

    cheers

I had the Black and Blue G7900, great watches but when my GA100 Stealth turned up I flipped both of these. THe GA has something about it and with the white hands its perfectly useable at night with the lights out.
Saying that, if their is a G of any sort on my wrist Im happy!!!

I much prefer the GA-100, don't like the strap gaps at the lugs of the 7900, just like on the DW-9052. If Casio would have only made it a tight fitted strap like on the GA-100 then it would have been an awesome watch.

    Re: G-7900 vs GA-100

I really like both of these lines. Between these two, I'd pick the 7900.

The harder choice, for me, would be between stealthy GW-7900 and the stealthy GA-100. They're both absolute favorites. I'd probably opt for the GA-100 because I find it more versatile -- I can wear it with more things. As a result, it seems to get more wrist time.
