    Which G-8000 should i buy

I really like the new G-8000.
Which color do you prefer best.

I like the green one, but i didn't see one IRL and suppose that wont be possible in the Netherlands.
Which color do you like best and why. I like this one because of the display. Like the green digits.

this is the one i like.

Nice one Tom. I like that one a lot because of the display. Very Cool I also like the gray one. Just because you don't see many gray G's.

    Cheers!

    Hi Tom,

I have the orange one with black display and th balck one with the orange display. Your green one is also a good looking one and actually the most basic version black with a normal display is also a very nice one to see. I actually don't know where I got the orange from, but HB (forum sponsor at top of the page) has several models for a good price! Are you from the Netherlands and if, where do you live?

    Cheers,

    Sjors

Dear Sjors, i live in Uden. That is not to far from Best where you live (i read it before the crash in a mountainbike topic, so i hope i am right)

I will have a look a HBwatches.com. I saw the normal one at Luigi Lucardi in Uden, but it was 99 euro's with a discount of 25% on Casio's.
I didn't like the color so i didn't bought it.

I've got the black basic (display black el green) and i'm very happy with. What is great is that when you're using the different function the time is always displaying. The different colors is all the way question of opinion so make your choice like you feel it our bought every models.

Hi Tom, that's the green one with the negative display. I believe it's dark green, like the G-9000 Mudman. I think it's a great color. I'm from the capital of Zeeland, so unfortunately not in Best, although also near the Belgium boarder.

    Cheers,

Re: Which G-8000 should i buy

I have the basic black case & band / silver display (G-8000-1VER), and the patent black / orange display (G-8000B-4VER).

Objectively, the basic model is best because it has a wonderfully clear display.

On the other hand, the 'orange' one is more fun and makes more of an impression, but the display has less clarity.

It depends which is more important to you. Both are true modern classics, in my view. All they lack (and these things may not be important to you) are solar power, atomic timekeeping, and a separate backlight button. I also wonder how well the shiny black one will stand up to knocks and scratches.

    Great watches.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

If i am right, the two watches i posted are both the same.
They have the same serienumber. Maybe the second picture is a bit overlighted.
