    Is a g or gw7900 module fitting in a gw6900 case?

Just wondering. Looking at the new GLX6900, but not liking the colors coming, I would be curious to know if anyone tried this?

I'm confused by your question -- what exactly are you wanting to do?

    Please clarify. . . .

I think it would work just fine to swap the dw-6900 module with the glx-6900 module. I just removed the outer bezel on both my g-7900 and my DW-6600 and it looks like the modules are the exact same size. You would have to swap out the buttons though. I'm not confident in my abilities so I didn't do it.

Basically, what you are doing is creating your own "home made" glx-6900. I, too, am interested in this combo. It's a great feature set with a case that is not as high profile as the g-7900. If anyone is curious enough to make this swap please let us know how it comes out with plenty of pictures!

Sorry if the question was unclear, I wondered if anyone had tried what reardenman wrote about above.

I will start looking for a used g7900 and see if it can be fitted into the gw6900. I will update once I have some news.
