    G-Shock 30 years Edition

Casio is passion, and to me a great link to the fantastic '80s.
Less than a month ago I have bought a DW5600e, and the passion rised again.
I do not like all the Casio styles, I love all the regular squares (which are THE ORIGINAL), one or two dw/gw6900, Rangeman and GWA1000. But I want to start collecting just the original.
I have found this special anniversary kit, on sale for $500. I do not want to buy it todar, maybe in the future if it will be still available. What do you think? Is this set "a must have" for all collection? What kind of watches are inside this box? It's generally explained but there is no detailed information.
Tell me your opinion, tell me if you have one, tell me if I have to put it in my wishlist.

If you like Squares then the GSET-30 is a must buy, it was a Limted release, so it won't be around for ever. The Gman is also very cool and only available in this set ....

Also if you search "GSET" you will find unboxing threads, etc and many detailed photos. Both watches are DW-5030's.

When you ask "what type of watches?" What are you referring to? Both are steel cased, screwback, with the DW module. One has carbon resin, the other is the modern version of previous releases (such as DW-5025, or DW-1983, etc). Both are "Project Team Tough".

Personally psyched to have this set. If you are into squares it is one you should get if you can. It is now out of production (it was limited for 30th anniversary). So hunt at your own discretion as you see fit.

You answered to all my questions. Thank you!
Do you think I will find unboxing video on YouTube?
I always watch fwupow channel, the best videos on Casio.

I have the set... for square lover this set is such a JOY to have!

basicly its the very same feature like your dw-5600e module 3229, which is basic and all the feature 99%user would find very useful. the different is on the screwback case.

like u i have resist the temptation but finally give up and buy the set... live is to short and in the watch world its a fractions of those mechanical hehe.

    here's mine

i prefer the basic vintage black resin look, so i swirch the carbon fiber strap to 5030c resin.

you can see the complete post here

if you have the money, just bought the set... they are limited edition, so it will become scarce and hard/expensive to get latter.

    goodluck.

I give another vote to the GSET, I'm not a hardcore squarist but the GSET is very, very nice. The quality on both screwbacks is exquisite. It will become harder to find so I'll also say get it sooner rather than later :)
