    Which G Shock

    Hi Guys

As you can see from the number of posts, I am new to all of this. I have a watch collection which I would like to add a G Shock to. I love them and had one years ago, but my wife hated it and I got rid of it . Now I am not sure which one to get?? Either the mudman or the Trainer.

I like some of the features of the Trainer in terms of the memory function, but also like the Mudman. Can someone tell me if you can use the buttons of the Mudman underwater? and exactly how the memory function works on the Trainer?

    Thanks for your help.

BTW I love this forum. My wife doesn't understand the watch obsession thing...

You can use the Mudman buttons underwater. I don't know the Trainer.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

I don't know about you; but if my girlfriend said anything about it, I would drag out all her shoes, purses and sunglasses out. Then, I would say, " now what is this about my watch obsession?"
I'm perplexed to the collection of Casios. I'm thinking of getting a solar-atomic, and there are so many, I cannot decide.

Funny thing is you read through the threads here and nobody agrees on which model is the best Maybe thats why most of us get several G's

I love the Mudman and the thing I like most is the dual stop watch. I have a 4 mile walk by my house I try hard to reduce my time. I just keep the best time on the watch and use the second stopwatch to better the other time. I dont need a lot of other things but I really use the dual stopwatch

Thats funny!! I got my own back by buying a 1940's Omega Military watch, it cost 5 times the price!!! Although I still miss the "i can do anything in a shock" attitude...

    Re: Which G Shock

I'm pretty sure the Trainer is the G-7710. I've seen it referred to by that name on a number of sites including Casio US http://www.casio.com/products/Timepi...Shock/G7700-1/

I don't know how the memory function works exactly but it seems to have capactiy to record times off the stopwatch elapsed time with the day/month/year and time of day. Its module 3095 so you can get the manual off the casio web site and have a look. Its clearly a nice watch.

Personally I'm quite a fan of the mudman - lots of choices on colour schemes in the G-9000 series and wears very comfortably.

    Welcome to the forum :D
