    G-Shock bracelet?

    Hello,

I am interested in fitting this bracelet to a watch it wasn't
intended for. I looked at a store with a reasonable selection
of G-Shocks for sale, but they didn't have one with the
    bracelet.

Please could someone show me the lug end detached from
the watch and how the links are removed for sizing? How
wide is the bracelet at the lug end?

In case it looks like it could work, does that bracelet have
a part number or name? Should I try to buy one from Casio
    in the US?

    Thanks,
    rationaltime

    Here's a bump for you.

I think there's a fairly limited number of models that can use that bracelet, and I'm sure someone else will know which ones they are (and the part number).

    Re: G-Shock bracelet?

I know of 2 models it fits on, the 2 versions 5600 and a newer 6900. I wish I knew the part number, but they fairly regularly pop up on the Sales Forum in the Straps section. Ebay is not a bad resource, and if all else fails, call Casio and ask them....unfotunately I believe it is a bit pricey direct from them. Its a nice bracelet though, resin links, Black SS Inner Links, and springpins for very easy adjustment.

    Good luck.

Yup, I can remember seeing one on a GW-6900.

I have the bracelet. It has the same end shape as the rubber band of Gw6900 (16 mm lug pin). So far, I've tried and easily put on GW6900 and DW5000SL. It won't fit on GW5600J nor AWG-101. The GWM5600B came with the bracelet so I guess it'll fit the regular display GWM5600 as well. Havn't tried it on the DW5600MS or other 5600.

I don't know the name of the person who submitted this pic. It provides a look at the end links. This bracelet may actually be for the GW5600J model. The GWM bracelet will have identical links at each end.

    Re: G-Shock bracelet?

    Thanks for all the information.

I searched the strap and bracelet sales corner and found this
(member "trn") photo. Do you know those two dimensions?

This shape might be a challenge. Do any of you bracelet
owners have a different shape end link? I suppose there
is a hole for a spring bar there somewhere, but I can't
    see it in this photo.

    Thanks,

I believe the wht arrows are 16mm wide, the red arrows are approx 26.5mm wide.

The springbar hole would be located a bit off center in the yellow circle, looking in a NNE direction, closer to the main portion of the endlink. Approximately in the same spot as depicted on the strap in this photo.

    Re: G-Shock bracelet?

    Thanks for the help.

It looks like with some modification it could work for me,
but success is not assured. To reduce the risk I guess
I will wait for a used bracelet to come up.

    Thanks,
    rationaltime
