G Shock Connected App Battery Indicator

    I bought the GW-B5600BC-1.

I realised that the battery level can only be seen from the G Shock Connected App ... but the battery indicator shown is always 50%...half black half white for many days.... not moving at all ...

    Is there something wrong?

Watch is working fine... just that the battery indicator does not seem to be working...

No it just need more charging time. It takes sometime to reach full charge like this. Direct sunlight could speed it up

I had been wearing this watch for 2 days straight, and is bright and sunny outside. But still on 50%.

I think the next indicator is at 75% so could be at 70% and not moving until it gets a bit more charge.
That's what I gathered from a similar thread.

It would take sometime mate. No worry. Placing it in direct sunlight will surely speed it up. When I got mine, wearing it for a couple of days didn't help much, a single charging session did make a different

Sorry, what do you mean by "a single charging session" ?

How do I do that ?

I left it at my balcony which has a couple hours of direct sunlight (morning). In the evening I checked battery and found that battery level increased.

The first bit of charge seems to build up fairly quickly but the more the watch charges the longer it seems to take to “top off”. Don’t know whether it’s right or not but it certainly takes a long time. Give it many days.

As discussed a week ago, the battery indicator is not linear but logarithmic.
