    Laughing G-Shock in Disguise

Hey guys, when I got home today, this was waiting for me in the mail. There is nothing like getting a new watch but I wasn't quite sure about this one. After seeing this in person and wearing it on the wrist I have to admit I am blown clean out of water! Why this is not a G is beyond me. I am probably gonna p*** some of you when I say this but the only rational that I could give is that it is better than so many other Gs that I could think of. Please don't get me wrong I love my Gs and consider myself a true fan but this is one amazing watch that is nothing short of any other G that I know. In my honest opinion it is surely a true G-Spirit and a G in disguise . Some of the highlights:

    1. Big Clear Digital Display
    2. Cool Cockpit Display with Digi-Ana Graph
    3. Mineral Crystal
    4. Stainless Steel Bezel with raised resin protector
    5. Soft, supple and very comfortable resin strap
    6. 200m WR
    7. Countdown Timer ranging from 1 second to 24 hours (great feature missing in many Gs)
    8. Stop Watch
    9. World Time
    10. 10 Year Battery (Also limited to much less in many Gs)

And all that for less than $40. How can you go wrong! Model number is: AE2000W-1AV

    Enough said now some shots:

Let me know what you all think...

I really like this watch too!

There are some additional models with the same form factor like this atomic beauty:

It's a beauty - we haven't sold many in my shop, if any, but I would defintiely buy it as a non-G goes!

Wow! It's a steal for $40. What is the model number?

Nice watch. The bezel and side buttons make it look like a Protrek-Gshock hybrid !

    - Nice one also! I did think about that one. I am not sure if that had a countdown timer ranging from 1 second to 24 hours. I will check and may be get that one too.

I did try that it survived with no issues. Actually, it is like a ritual that I always try as soon as I receive a G-Shock type watch to see if it would break from a drop.

No doubt it's a fantastic watch, like many non-G classic Casios
However, it's possible that Gshock have some protection cushion technology inside their modules, that may not be existing in non-Gs. Just assuming...
