G shock G-7900 watch band compatibility??

Hi guys, I would like to change the band of my G-7900 with onle like the G9000 MUDMAN or the GW9200 RISEMAN with the double holes...to give a tougher look.
Do you think it would be possible?

No, the lug shapes are very different.
You need a 16mm wide strap with a flat regular lug shape.

maybe "shaping" with a cutter? ... I know it's a little hazardous, but...

Dont know how good you are with a cutter.
The GW-9200 might be able to cut down to the right shape.

But the GW-2500 strap is "inside-out", the lug on this watch is a 16mm bar with the strap fitting on the flanges (outside).

Did you ever figure that out? I actually would like to do the same thing. or even a nylon watchband, they seem a bit more comfortable.
