    G-Shock GA100MB-1A band size?

I’m looking to purchase the GA100MB-1A for my partner for Christmas, but I can’t seem to find any information on the size of the band. I’m worried about it not fitting as I’ve found there’s some variation in sizes between the watches. Does anyone have this watch and could tell me how long the band is or what size wrist if would fit?
    Thank you in advance

My wrist is about 7". I wear the strap of my GA-100 on the fifth hole from the tail end of the strap. If worn on the first hole from the tail end of the strap, it would probably work for a wrist of 8" or a bit larger.

For my wrist size, the strap forms an oval shape, wider across the wrist and narrower top to bottom. Since I have flat wrists, this works fine for me. With rounder 7" wrists the strap might not be comfortable, because it may press on the top and bottom of the wrist. I saw a YouTube review mentioning this for a GA-100, GD-100 or GD-120 (they all use the same strap design).

As the strap size is increased to 8", the shape becomes more round (less oval), so it will probably work for someone with an 8" round wrist.

One thing to keep in mind regarding the GA-100 model you've chosen is that the negative LCDs are very hard to read except in bright, direct light. Unfortunately, there is no backlight for the LCDs on the GA-100 (and many other G ana-digi watches). The light is for the analog dial only.

My brother has a GA-100 with negative LCDs, and the LCDs are unreadable much of the time.
