    G-Shock Giez GS-1000J-1AJF question

I've worn out my G-Shock catalog drooling over the Giez which I am considering buying from Higuchi.

Has anyone had any experience with this watch and what is the origin of the name GIEZ.

    Thanks!
    Best regards,

    Dear friend,
I have no opinion about this specific model but I have experience with the 300 models (ana digit). I have one all black with deployment clasp and one plain titanium case with black protectors and strap. There is no need to speak about the modulle because you speak about different watch. I am very satisfied with case and is very comfortable on the hand (both). Generally I find it a very nice watch. The only downside maybe is that the case protectors do not cover the front class enought for heavy use.
Hope I am a bit helpfull.

What's a Giez gs1000? Since Giez's vary in features from model to model, do you know its module #?

I've got a 300 and the GS-1000. The module # is 4343. I can't find an English translation for the manual, but have figured out some of the operations. I like the face on this watch quite a bit. Strap is more like rubber than other G's. It is quite heavy and feels like a solid piece. I had it shipped from Japan when it first came out. I looking forward to the day I can read the bloody manual though.

    Thanks,Ben
