    G-SHOCK GS300 Titanium

    Hi Guys

If the hands on a GSHOCK GS300 will not move, would it be worth getting it repaired, given that its a module inside. Also, there is two batteries in this watch (a big one and a little one) Does anyone know what function each battery looks after.

    Thanks Trevor

I'm pretty sure there is nothing broken, therfore no need for an repair. the GS-300 is an ana-digi model and because of that is has two batteries - one for the digital and one for the analog section. just have the batteries replaced and the watch will keep on running.

Welcome to the forum and I'm sure cal is right.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

    Thanks Guys

I just put two new batteries into it and it still doesnt work. The Bigger battery must power the digital side of things and the little one the analogue. The digital is fine but when I push the d button to set the hand time nothing happens, plus the hands dont move anyway. If it was working I presume the hands would still move with time.

Does anyone know where I could buy the new module, its the Titanium GS-300 Giez with a white face.

    Thanks Trev

I got the exact same problem as you!
Except my watch module was using 2 small batteries,
after manual replacement, the digital part works fine ,
but the analogue hands just don't move anymore...
Up to now , I still don't know what went wrong....

    Yep

Ots different to the pictures that have been posted but you can see "connection AC" stamped and an arrow pointing to a brass contact beside the mode button connection inside. I did the reset thing and the time went back to 1200, i then repeated that dor the hand battery and still nothing.

Same, it has real sentimental value as well.

But I do think something is suss as it was all working fine before the flat batteries.

I really don't think it's broken. It just needs resetting in some way. If not via the AV then by button press combinations. Have you tried setting the time on the analogue?

Have a look at the manual, it may tell you what to do. If you don't have the manual you can get it here:
