G-Shock GW056A-1V - Real or Fake? Please help.

I bought this baby from eBay from a seller called "4watches" before I realized the absurd amount of fakes on eBay. It's an atomic solar watch, so I strongly doubt that it could be successfully faked, but one never knows. Please let me know what you think or point out anything I should check for. Thank you.

Hello, well I'm new to the forum, but not to Casio or watches!
I've bought several watches from the seller you mentioned and they have a good reputation.
To put your mind at rest, the G you bought is the real thing - not a fake.
    Enjoy it!

    Pelican,

Thanks a lot. It makes me feel better. The only reason I began to wonder is because the manual and box are not original. I couldn't find a single flaw with the watch, though.

Yep, the seller you bought your watch from uses basic packaging to keep costs as low as possible. As for the manuals, they're printed on recycled paper and can therefore have a slightly yellow tinge to them making them seem 'cheap' or 'copied'. They too, however, are Casio stock.
I have exactly the same model as you, which is why I can say with 100% confidence that your watch is genuine.
Despite the odd shortcoming here and there I found this watch to be a great everyday wearer, plus it's pretty discreet.
    Enjoy.

You can tell it's legit, it says Casio Japan on the buckle. That's one of easy way of telling. :)

Welcome all to WUS. Yes, that watch does look genuine so have no worries. However, I don't think just because the buckle has Casio Japan on it would automatically mean it was genuine.

I'm wearing exactly the same watch on my wrist and I can tell that yours is a real one while comparing with mine. Mine is GW-056J, directly purchased from Tokyo Japan.
