    hi guys can anybody tell me the model of this one ,i think it's a G6900.
    i'm off on a G shock buying trip this week,will post pics when i return.

    Yep, Silenoz nailed it.

    This model seems to be really popular with military guys. I wonder if there's some reason for it being so much more popular than other similar models like the DW-6900.

    Somebody once offered the explanation that it's because the DW-6600 can change between 12/24 hr format with one button press.
