Interesting piece you have there. I like the red on the dial. Not convinced it is real though.

    1) "S.COM WATCH CO."???
    2) "CASIO" logo on dial doesn't look right
    3) 10BAR only on a G-SHOCK?
    4) Alarm and signal imagery totally non-Casio
    5) Simply printed text on bezel surface, not embossed

Sorry, but that watch has something truly fishy...

the fish is not original from casio, they have 2 different fishes. one for the vintage stuff, and one newer for the DURO series. but this marlin was never used by casio.

I'm not going to say fake just yet. As there are some watches not available to all markets. The S.com watchco does seem strange. I'm leaning fake though.

The four buttons protrude pretty far out
Bezel steel looks pretty grainy for Casio
Same for the underside of the lugs
    LCD bell shape too tall
The stamping on the back isn't vertically centered on the caseback
The stamping looks to be of too much an uneven depth
G-Shock, Light, Mode, Reset, Start are painted on top of the surface
Has Casio ever used a 2-digit LCD window like the one at the 6 o'clock position?

"Start/stop" is printed on the face at the 4 o'clock position, with "reset" at the 2 o'clock, but the labelling on the bezel is the other way around. Design department QA fail - which usually indicates the origin to be somewhere cheap in China. Lots of little details point to it not being genuine, but an error like this is typical of a fake.
