Off Topic post The G-Shock Minis have landed in the US...

I did a search and didn't see anything mentioning this but for anyone who is interested and has a Nordstrom nearby; they are now carrying gobs of G-Shocks. I saw 3 different G-Shock Minis several Baby G's and obviously tons of full size models including the crazy colors, some G-Lides, and a MIRO Gulfman which followed me home (along with a mini 6900). Granted they don't sell at a discount but I don't think I would have bought either of these models had I not had the chance to check them out first hand. So if you are in the market, hopefully you'll score something cool :)

    How small are the minis?

    I'd like more maxis myself!

About 2/3 size of a standard G-Shock, roughly...maybe slightly smaller.
So for most of us that would be pretty small, I concur

Well the 6900-mini is still a fair sized watch (approximately 42mm). I'm used to wearing watches in the sub-40mm category (although I do have some big guys too like Tuna Can, Trimix, etc) so the mini feels pretty cofortable. The 6900 that I bought is the gloss black with gold for the 25th anniversary, it's pretty cool. I think I like the MIRO Gulfman better but they are both winners IMO.

Are there any mini vs normal sized G-Shock pictures available anywhere?

    Cheers.

Here you go. As you can see the strap of the mini g is wide open so it looks big but the watch itself is very small compared to "normal sized" Gshock...
