    G-Shock models question

    Hi all,

As some of you may know, I work on Woensdrecht Air Force Base. Recently the welfare organization has opened a shop on base and they are planning to sell watches as well. Since I'm a bit of a G-Shock fan, I was asked which models they should put on display in the shop.

Because they have just opened up they want to start with some of the less expensive models. If and when demand grows they can always get other and more expensive models.

I was thinking of the following models:
    - DW-5600E
    - DW-6900
    - G-7900
    - GA-100
    - GD-100MS-3ER
    - GD-120
    - G-9000-1VER
    - G-9100-1ER
    - GW-M5610

Any other suggestion that might do well with young military personnel?

Thats a good bunch of Gs which should serve everybodies need!

    The G-2900 is affordable, too.
    But a bit blingy.

Maybe the GW-M5610BC as a slightly upmarket bracelett stealthy watch which still fits under long sleeves.

You've summed up all European Market models that would be suited for this demographic. There is one I would add: The GA-1000. A bit out of the price range at €249 retail, but it's an aviator and you are on an Air Force Base! It's made for this exact purpose.

They even did a promo a while back:

Also don't forget the Protrek watches.

I have added all the mentioned models to the list. Thank you!

The GW-M5610BC would be a great wintertime (long sleeve) replacement for my Rangeman but unfortunately it doesn't seem available in the Netherlands.

Of course, the GA-1000 series! How could I missed that one.

I also have thought about the Pro Treks as well. The PRG-270 would be a good Pro Trek to start with.

    Hi All,

I think that can not miss the GW-9400.

    Best regards

This is a good list. Stick with this one anything else and the prices start to climb. And as you stated, they want to start with the less expensive models.
    Casio/ Citizen/ G-Shock/ Pro Trek/ Seiko

I would stick with the varions GA models as those would sell out every time (100 and 110, but also 120, 150, 200, etc.). I think that the G-8900 would also sell well.
