    G-Shock With the Most Features?

I have a couple of questions for the G-Shock experts on this Board. I'm hoping that someone who works for Casio will consider responding.

Does anyone know if Casio plans to distribute a G-Shock with most (if not all) of the features listed below? (Either Solar or non-Solar is fine with me.) Secondly, what current G-Shock has the most of the following features? (My apologies if I have listed some 'standard' features here; I don't really know these watches all that well.)

    ****************

ST1 and ST2 (999 hours) (substituting only one stopwatch is okay)
    Altimeter
    Barometer
    Compass
    Thermometer
    Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping
(Would this have to be a solar model?)
    Tide/Moon data
    Low temperature resistant
    Mud resistant
    Water resistant (20 Bar)

    ****************

I realize no G-Shock currently has all of these 'goodies.' I don't know much about marketing the different lines (e.g., Frogman, Mudman, Riseman) of G-Shocks, but maybe this is the reason why Casio doesn't consider giving us a super (or what I like to call a 'monster') watch which would include just about all of the things listed above. (These features are not necessarily prioritized.) Perhaps it's impossible to include all of these features from a technical (meaning it can't be done) standpoint?

Pick the features you really truly need or will actually use and go from there.

    Moved to main forum.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

The G7900 has ST1 and ST2 along with moon/tide data. Also has world time, is low temp resist, mud resist and water resist 20BAR. Only missing the ABC features. I don't know about the GW7900, but it's the solar/atomic version of the same watch. You might lose the second stopwatch with it, but most all the features should be the same.

I believe that this will be about as close are you are going to find -

    Q6's 2500 Series post

They wont blend more than what they are or they would have no reason to have Pathfinder/ProTrek brands.

I think a lot of people agree that Casio won't ever release a G-Shock with all the features that everybody wants. Once they make a "perfect" G-Shock, people *may* stop buying the next release.

Having said that the GW9200, the new GW9300 (maybe ...) and the PAW1500 maybe the closest to the "perfect G-Shock/Pathfinder" with the most features that everybody wants. (IMO, YMMV)

Thanks to all for the informative responses. I appreciate it. :)

I am looking at the new Mudman as a possibility. That sure seems like a fine watch.

    Brvheart,

Thanks for the link -- very nice indeed. And I didn't even know about the PRW-2500. Wow, that's some watch in my opinion! It has just about everything I want. Again, thanks.

Question: Is the PRW-2500 still available, and what is the price (roughly) at most distributors these days?

Once you say ABC you immediately move away from G Shocks and into Protrek/Pathfinder (if you stay with Casio).
