Which G Shock for the Mrs.?

I just bought myself a mudman 9300 and I love it! Now I want to get the Mrs., for the gym. I found these and I love the bigger one from the pair. The 5600 is also nice.

Anything else I should consider? Has to be girly(ish) and smaller than my mudman (she has small wrists).

Oh and what should be next in my list, for me? I like these, which one first though? Or something else (must have) that I don't know about?

I plan on giving up autos and collecting gshocks :) Can anyone educate me more on gshocks?

What would be the grail? What's the Sub equivelent and what's the day date, etc.. ?

Yep I mostly wear my Gs too - but in-between I also like a nice mechanical.
You can learn a lot about Gs simply by visiting the Casio homepage. Another excellent source is Sjors' blog and his page "G-people-land" and of course Riley's "Mygshock"-page.
There is not one grail but many . Maybe a DW-8200BK or other rare Frogman model. Of course also the old squares like DW-5000C and DW-5600C or the "wide temp" models. But replacement parts are nearly impossible to find so I'd stick with the newer models. The "Sub-equivalent" if you consider it a "bread and butter model" might be a Mudman or Riseman - if you consider price it's certainly a MRG-model. You'll learn more than enough when reading through the forum of course. Of the two watches you mentioned I'd prefer the GX-56KG.

Thanks a lot Sedi! Very useful info. I actually have a PRG 200, had it for a few years now. Resized it for my kid then realized it was too bulky for him. I lost the links and just bought a strap for it. Any idea where I would find links for it?

I couldn't even figure out how to remove the bracelet. There are two screws and the both move together, would I need another screw driver to hold the other side?

Yes, you probably need two screwdrivers. Don't know if you can get links seperately or if you have to buy a whole new bracelet.

I just got my Girlfriend a 7700....It's a little big for her, but doable. She wanted some features such as auto-el Light, but more importantly she wanted to see multiple timezones of the face, which that model does a great job at doing. She just wore it to work for the first time last night (she's a nurse) I'll have to ask her when she wakes up, how it worked out for the first night.
