    G-Shock on a Nato/Zulu Srap:- help please....

Hi, though I've been hanging out on the Diver/Submariner threads I've of late got into G-shocks in a big way! I think having a couple of sons in the Army helps. Nearly all their buddies have a G-shock of one type or other (the Mudman seams the most popular.) However, a couple of the guys asked me of it was possable to fit the G-shock onto a Nato/Zulu strap. I've seen adaptors to fit the Frogman onto a Nato but can they be used on other models of G-shocks? Sorry if its been posted before, I did look but couldn't find anything. Thanks for the help Guys,

    Jason.

For most models you'll need to buy adapters for a Zulu/NATO. For the 90xx Mudman the standard adapters won't work, but you could still make some or use Sunto C clips. I have several older Gs on Zulus.

I just put the Nato/Zulu strap adapters on my new GW6900. I like the zulu's much better than the stock plastic bands. I have the adapters from Countycomm.com

According to the Wiki, Casio USA is supposed to have these adapters for only $2, as opposed to the highway robbery prices of $12 plus $7 shipping in many other places. Has anyone here gotten them that cheap at Casio recently? They're closed until Monday, so it'll be a little while to find out from them directly.

I've called Casio more than once asking about these. They don't have them anymore and that's it. No more. $12 doesn't seem so bad assuming you order a few Maratac straps to spread out the shipping cost per item.

I got the adaptors from ebay seller westcoasttime. The shipping is more reasonable.

That's a bummer... the Wiki owner should update that posting, to avoid sending people on a useless quest.
