    G-Shock Noob

    Hello all

I'm thinking about getting my first g-shock and am attracted to this model:

    GA-110TS-8A3CR

Is this a decent model? There seem to be so many variations. I like that it has watch hands and the time digitally.

Also, is this a model that I can change out the band? What about the face surround shield thing? It would be awesome if I could replace both with dark blue.

    Thanks for any info!

Good model. I've had one for 6+ years. There are plenty of band options for this model, including strap adapters from Casio and JaysandKays -(on Ebay & on this site) for Nato style straps. You can swap straps and bezels for the GA models, GA-100 & GA-110, if I'm not mistaken. Check google, find a color you like, then Check PACparts, and put in the model number to see if it's available, or check Ebay, but you'll end up paying more on there.

They have some interesting GA 110's on eBay with blue band and bezel.

Thanks all. Main reason I want blue band / face on this watch is I'm going for a Seahawks theme :) I'll probably pick it up, just a little more research. It's hard to gauge the size of these, is it one of the huge models?

It's pretty big. I wouldn't say huge, but it is big.

I tried one at Bergner's and they are so big to my wrist (6.75"). The watch is so attractive in my opinion.

I was going to give great advice, right up til you said Seahawks.

Hunt eBay for color variants. They are out there.

Hey now, no need to be jealous

Thanks for the advice all. I'm going to see if I can find one locally and try it on before I commit.
