Lightbulb G-Shock + Omega NATO Strap 031CWZ011621 (Biosteel)

I'm thinking of getting my hands on Omega's Biosteel NATO Strap for the bragging rights (having the ultimate G, indestructible down to the strap psychology). Let's face it, most of the straps for our G's need to be retired at one point if it's made of resin.

Price is not a consideration, but the BEIGE color is bugging me.

    Some questions:

    1. Will Omega/Biosteel ever come out with different colors on this strap?
    2. If NO - can we change the color ourselves, i.e. dye it?
    3. Will Casio be interested in coming onboard to develop their own set of straps with Biosteel tech?

I'm pretty sure they'll develop other colors especially a black one or one that's suits the NASA aficionados...whether Casio will do something like this is a time with tell story...they're already doing Carbon Fiber and are known for doing straps made of woven strings and velcro...give them some time. As for whether the Biostrap that is currently on the market is dye-able I'm not so certain of this since it was created to survive the elements and pretty sure they have some type of coating on it to repel things like moisture or water which could make the dye process difficult. That's just my opinion.

I guess you are right... there must be some sort of proprietary coating on the strap's threads that we shouldn't be messing with.

Another option is to replace the current bezel to match the beige color of the strap, something like that of the Sand Beige Military series like the DW-5600EW-7JF.
