    G-Shock Packaging?

What is the newest G-Shock packaging? Is it the 4"x4"x3" recycled box (square shape)? Or the 4.5"x3"x4" box with the slide off sleeve (rectangle shape)?

    Thanks.

The current packaging in JP seems to be the square box, while the export models come in the slide off sleeve box. In the past G-Shock's in Germany were sold in hexagonal hard plastic boxes, here refered to as Haru Cans if I'm right. Unfortunately you don't see them here any more...

    Cheers,

    Good post Shoto!

Their is really know current standard post and a lot depends on the seller in Japan.

They make and have made many different types and the overseas models have the different type again, usually the black top lided box with the outer black sleeve.

When I lived in Japan and used to get my watches from CASIO, usually limited discontinued models, It was a case of whatever box was available, sometime no box at all.

I used to purchase the plastic "HARU G-CAN'S" by the box loads to keep my G-Shock's in.

    To Shotouthood
about your question about Casio G Shock packaging, I'm not 100% sure, but from personal experience. I just brought a G-5600-1JF which is a Japanese only model came in what look like a recycled rectangle box 11.5cm X 7.5cm X 8.5cm. It also has a sleeves with japanese writing and a code SL-PGSB1-2 on the on the bottom. It has a picture-gram on the side and WWW.g-shock.jp stamp at the bottom centre of the box. I also have a normal DW-5600e which came blackish/grayish box just a-bit longer and thinner than the G-5600 box. Years ago when I brought my frist G shock also a japanese model it came in a plastic container, looks alot like the yachtman. Hope this has answered your question in someway.
