    G Shock parts left over

My G Shock 1289 needed a battery...I changed it but, I have two small springs left over. The watch works fine but Casio says to send them the watch to insert the springs...one tiny gold and one tiny silver spring.
Anyone direct me to a diagram as to where the springs should fit?

    Many thanks,

    LRMars

    Hi LRMars,

Can you give us the model number (you gave us the module number). Maybe I can help, although I don't know many models with two springs. If you realy miss the, your watch is quiet now (noo beeps, no alarms) and maybe no EL too.

    Cheers,

The back of the watch shows 1289 and DW-6900. That's about it.

    Thanks,

I've got to figure out how to reply to a message without adding on to a poster's message field.
    But, thanks for the response.

I got it. It's the module of the good old DW-6900 and the DW-8400 Mudman. This it the back of an open module 1289. It only needs one spring it looks like. I would choose for the not gold one. Check the hole, just above the battery, near the J of Japan on the battery. Next time you change a battery, don't turn it upside down!!!

    Hi LRMars,

I see that hole in the module is also a bit lifted, so it's probably quiet easy to find

    Good Luck,
