    Question G-shock quick deployment bands?

I was wondering if they make those silicon quick deployment bands for g-shock. I have the GW7900B-1 model. If so, where could I find them... Thanks

As G-Fob said, no, Casio does not make a) silicone bands or b) DEPLOYANT buckles like:

Most G-Shock bands use springbars which are shorter than the strap is wide, which helps keep the springbars from breaking or bending and falling out. Because most of those G-Shock straps are shaped like:

...most "normal" straps won't fit properly and will need to be modified to fit the narrower Casio lugs.

Or, as G-Fob said, you can buy deployant buckles in a variety of widths to fit your existing strap after removing the stock buckle.

Here are two threads on the subject, with a 50/50 success rate: https://forums.watchuseek.com/f17/dep...ng-648586.html

(Fun thread in that first link which touches on how the term "deployant" clasp has been mangled to "deployment" over the years. Apparently "deployant" comes from French and "to fold" -- which makes perfect sense for a folding clasp -- but English speakers and spellcheck have been using the other word.)
