    Bonjour Nemo,

Bon Aptetite! Cool pics. Did you happen to see Jur too? That's quite a beaten up G. I have that model in metal. I believe it was smething like a GW-500D, or so. A pretty nice model, back in the days.

    Cheers,

    Sjors

Awesome... i'm a spyderco fan and carry one in my pocket 24/7 and a 84mm vistorinox tinker small...

its great to see the spyderco father and sons practical enough to wear G-Shock even though they could afford some fancy luxury wristwatches hehehe..

btw, nemo, are you also knifemaker or person from knives industry? thx

For 20 years I have been a witness of knife industry, a blogger and a reviewer.

Sal and Eric bought their G together. Both watches are in great condition and they are not babying them. They would not wear anything else.
They especially love the big digits found on this model. And sticked to it because of that.
Sal has been breaking all his previous watches but has never be able to ruined his G.
And as they are travelling worldwide they need their watch to be accurate robust and easy to operate.
I have noticed that model on their wrist for 5 years.
    They bought them in Japan.

    Cheers

It is the GW-700A-1 from about 2004. Looks really well used.

Too awesome. Spyderco is my favorite knife brand by far; mostly made in USA, high quality steel, minimalist design that leans way more towards function than looks, top quality

    Sorta like a G-Shock!

I like Benchmade for their balisongs but I have some Spyderco knives and they tend to be the sharpest out of the box and very well made. I have opened many incoming watch boxes with Spyderco knives. For when you are really excited to get a new watch and don't want to mess around with the packaging--slice through it with a Spyderco!

Spyderco knives are my daily beaters (the Spyderhawk and the Manix 2 XL among others). Thanks for this thread and the pictures, Nemo!
