    G Shock strap adapters ...

Hi All - Just wondering if anyone prefer using the bolt on strap adapters for one piece straps I have seen. I like the idea but not sure how they wear (ride high etc.)? Thanks -Ronbo

It's the only kind I wear. I find resin straps to be sticky and sweaty.

They are very comfortable, and ride about 5/6mm high above the wrist with my G-Lide strap.

I prefer resin strap than to velcros.
The rough-y cloth makes my skin uncomfortable.
Looking for module 2266 LCD panel.

I like th look of the textile straps.
But i dont like that they get smelly after some time of wear.
Its hard to get the smell off from the strap.

    Back to you question:
I prefer the raised strap adapters on flat models like the DW-5600.
A 6900 with strap adapters is somewhat too much for me.

I have fitted the same adapters and velcro strap on my gulfman that cjbtaylor has in his photo above. Far better than the standard resin strap.

Will these strap adapter work on Riseman GW 9200? I have read that they only fit gshocks with spring bars.

Re: G Shock strap adapters ...

They do work on the Riseman but you have to cut them a bit to make them fit. Search for a thread with the title "not the first to get one, but the first to mod one".
I don't like them on the 5600 models - they are just too small and the watch will float awkward over my wrist. They work perfectly for me on the G-7710CL. But best of all are the models with the strap adapters already integrated like my G-3010:

However - if the "adapters", which are part of the bezel, ever break I'll probably won't get any spare parts for it. But considering comfort - this design is great.

cjbtaylor, love the combo! What watch are you wearing with the G-Lide strap?

To everyone else: what width straps do you use? 20,22, or 24mm?
