A man wearing a watch, outside of purely social functions (where, strictly speaking, a watch is not supposed to be worn), makes it clear to everyone in his purview that they are in the presence of a man who considers his time something of value, not something to be wasted.

A man wearing an ostentatiously expensive watch makes it clear to everyone in his purview that they are in the presence of a man who considers little.

Rangeman at work on a steel ship. It can take whatever it encounters as a beater.

Prior to the Rangeman it was a GW-3000BB

Awesome that you work in Hollywood m1ckDELTA. At least it looks like it based on what I've seen whenever they close off the streets near my in-law's house in Pasadena. :)

A commercial in Atwater Village, SW of Pas by a few miles. Tell your in-laws "Thanks" for being so gracious when the circus comes to town. I know when my neighborhood gets a visit from "Hollywood" it can be a pain.

It is a gold project, was just heading out to check on the field workers and the guys were weeding our vege' patch in front of my office, amazing lush green as the rain season right now.

For some reason, Hollywood really likes Pasadena so it's normal to see all of the white trucks and crew around. I think they've gotten used to it and are still curious as they always wonder what's being worked on and if they could see any actors.
