    G-Steel

I have never paid much attention to Casio or G-Shock. (Quite possibly the worst way to start off a new thread on the G-Shock forum. Please, don't shoot me!) But I recently saw pictures of the new G-Steel models, and even to this non-G-Shock owner, I have to say those are sharp looking.

What's the general impression of the G-Steel models?

They're nice but pretty big. Have a gsts330 which is in the smaller g-steel range and it's still too big for my 6.25" wrists. It's annoying because I really like the watch but it's just not comfortable for me to wear.

Look nice but I personally don't like how they wear.

Solid watches but could be massive for some people.
I strongly recommend to try one in person!
    It should be special!

Yes big but if Casio thought it’d be too big for smaller wrists they wouldn’t have made strap holes for a 6.25” wrist like mine. The carbon fiber bezel version is my favorite.

Man that carbon is really sharp. I really dig how the smaller Gsteel wears - my first G was actually a gsteel- and the bracelet on my GST-S310D is really sweet. It did lose a lot of wrist time to the mtgs, but overall the line is a good balance between rugged and classy!

I like the way that series looks, other than the propeller looking thing. I am sure that some think it is attractive; but for me it is a turn off.

The GST-B100 is a good looking watch. It has styling cues from Hublot. But there are 2 issues for me. At 58mm lug to lug, it's pretty big like mentioned above. That's one, and two: above the metal hour markers, there are perfect spots on the chapter ring for applying lume, yet there is none. Only the hour and minute hands have lume. The carbon model shown above is at least US$600, it's not acceptable at that price range to be skimpy on lume. Yes, there is a light, but still. I have Seikos less than US$150 that have better lume than this.
