    G-Steel Robert Geller Special Edition

Well, I went ahead and got this model after considering it since its release-date a couple months ago. Wanted to try out the G-Steel and this one is good as any to give it a test drive. Kinda like it. Switched out the bracelet that came with it for the Casio rubber strap and the weight dropped significantly without losing the feel of quality.

It's a masculine look but very subdued with the matt design, yet visually interesting with the subtle gold/brass accents on the dial and screws. It's quite handsome but more because it isn't crazy flashy--just a serious, somber appearance and ready to do its service as a tool watch. Makes an interesting beater.

Pictures on the net is sparse so here are a few.

And here it is on my BARELY 6.5 inch wrist.

Just thought I'd share some pics and quick thoughts.

That's a good-looking timepiece. I like the angular shape of the case, the red second hand, and the pop of gold in the otherwise muted dial. The rubber strap complements it very well. Congrats!

It was Grandfather's and when Father gave it to me he said I give you the mausoleum of all hope and desire.... I give it to you not that you may remember time, but that you might forget it now and then for a moment and not spend all your breath trying to conquer it."

I tried one of those on a while back. I must say, for it's size, it was extremely comfortable. The black did make it seem a bit smaller. I passed, but it was a tough call. Looks great on you!

Encourage someone. The world has enough critics.
