g420 grassman "that aint no MAPLE leaf backlight!"

It's one thing to see on ebay, but this is Amazon. $120 lol. Doesn't even list a model number. I just don't see Casio going there. I could see the response to someone pitching it at a development meeting.

"We don't know whether smokers buy watches or not, and we don't care. Quite frankly, it's a market we can do without."

    Hi JLH,

Personaly I find the hennep leaf a bit childish. Little kids and tourists here wear stuff with hennep leafs here, because smoking it is legal here. This DW-002 model (I believe there are 3 variants of this model) is actually one of the reggea models Casio released. This one is series is called the Bob Marley series, so in this point of view the hennep leaf is appropriate, since smoking hennep leaves (grass as you call it, it's called (wiet) weed here) is an important issue in the reggea culture.

Recently Casio released several other G-Shock models with reggea collors.

    Cheers,

    Sjors

    Hi JHL,

It's a very old model and it's sold in laaaaarge quantities in Germany years ago. It's not very strange, considdering there are an Eric Clapton and Rolling Stones models too. I even have a "Backstreet Boys" model . Actuallu I can't understand Casio went there:-D

    Cheers,

Yeah I guess considering where you live, it seems no more surprising than a fruit basket backlight or something. The Stones and Clapton G's I find less so, because they are still legal here (outside of ohio and indiana).

The Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton are illegal in Ohio and Indiana?

I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

I can't see what difference it makes legal or not:-S
