G7900-1 through the Philly Tough Mudder

Did my first actual mud race yesterday, the 10-mile Philly Tough Mudder. After much deliberation, I wore my G7900-1 and couldn't have been happier with its performance. It was never in the way or caught on anything and had no issues. It was my first mudder, I wasn't concerned about my race time or anything, but it was nice to have it with me to check the time of day a few times. We did it in 4 hours.

This was after I banged it off a bit. There were times when I looked down and it was just one big mud ball! I took it in the shower when I got home and rinsed it and cleaned it with an old toothbrush and it's good as new.

Would be interesting to see if how much particles went into the watch interior. Maybe its a stealth mudmaster in the hiding ;)

Thanks buddy. I will admit, it was 50 degrees (F), my grip was gone, I was huffing and puffing and my teeth were chattering toward the end, so I skipped the Funky Monkey, which entails climbing monkey bars over a pool of water. However, I did finish! I went through the electric shock wires, which was... wait for it... shocking. I got about 3/4 through and thought for a second "Wait, am I not getting a shock?" and then I felt my head explode as one got me, then another in the leg as I tuck and rolled out at the finish. Brutal!

It came pretty clean with a good washing. Maybe it's holding onto some mud for posterity.

Nice. I did my first mud race with my GW-5000, but the last part of the race was a run through some kind of soapy foam so I couldn't get a photo of the full damage.
Guys, I really really really do understand that there was a hack and that my password was reset, but I'm about to take a year off from WUS if you can't stop telling me about it every time I log in. With my password. That you reset.

I was thinking of using my beater DW-5600, but I was not confident in it's waterproofedness. I had changed the module out and as I recall, the gasket wasn't 100%.
