    G7900-2ER Buzzer?

I just ordered a g79002er and impulsively hit the deliver tomorrow button. I know none of you guys do that. Soon after I ordered, read somewhere that it has buzzer for the alarm/countdown timer, etc. So a couple of questions on the buzzer for you more savvy G Shock owners . Am I right in assuming this is not the same as the vibrating alarm in my GD350 and is more of an intentionally auditory buzz? Also does the 79002er also have a regular beep sort of tone as an option for the alarm/count down timer or is it just buzzer and flash? If anyone knows of a vid clip that shows it going off I'd love to take a peek at that.

    Thanks guys.

    Re: G7900-2ER Buzzer?

The 7900s are using the same piezo beep like other Gs.
So its rather low noise beep.

There are just a few models with vibration like the G-350 you already mentioned and some of the current Bluetooth models.

    Anyhow:
the G-7900 is a nice watch and you may like it, vibrating or not.

Thanks d2mac. It showed up today and I just finished setting it up. As I am looking your photo I do like it AND I just realized that they sent me the wrong watch. Mine is the DR rather than ER, more of a grey blue. Fortunately I like both colors for different reasons.

    The colors on screens vary!
I also set my camera to higher color saturation to let colors scream on display!
Your watch is right, my one is grey-blue too.

If I'm remembering right, the ER/DR/CR/JF at the end of the model number is just the market that it's intended to be sold in, the actual watch is the same.

I see what you you guys are saying, and have experienced the same with variance photos, but it actually is the wrong model. I ordered the G7900ER and got sent the 7900DR. It's much more grey blue than the ER.

Oops. Orang I missed what you said there. I don't know. It seems in the photos that I've seen that there really is a difference if you look at the average colors (of several examples) of each model number.

I definitely could be wrong on this, but I doubt it. Oddly the External box sleeve was labeled with ER, but the box itself and the tag on the watch were labeled with DR.

Well now, as I look at the red and white versions and their model numbers...
