    GA-1000 requires frequent hand recalibration

Hello everyone. I have about an almost four year old GA-1000, which I bought new. I replaced the battery a few months ago or the first time. Since then, I have had an issue where the hands will fall out of time periodically. The watch keeps perfect time/date digitally, but the hands fall out of sync. The first time it happened, I re-calibrated the hands and it was fine for weeks. Then it happened again, and again more often. Then it was fine for awhile, more than a couple months. Recently it has started again, and now I have to re-calibrate the hands every few hours.

Any idea what could be causing this? Weak battery? Did I mess something up when I had it apart? Thanks for any help.

I am in the US, and thanks for the tip.

I guess I was wondering if anyone here had experienced a similar issue and if so what a resolution might be.

my first guess would be batteries, but not so likely if you only did them a few months ago. you did change both of them right? (you only mention battery, singular)
