    GA-800

Is the GA-800 still a winner in every owners hearts? Still thinking of getting one.

    Re: GA-800

I had one for a short while until I figured that Ana-digi watches aren't my bag. Another thing that bothered me was the resin texture. It was matte and would surely show wear quite easily as the matte texture wore off from normal use.

On the plus side it has dual led's for the dial and the lcd which is nice. And the watch is small and nice and light in weight.

The dual leds and large light button made mine a keeper, much better than the 700.

It definitely remains a winner in my heart. LEDs are good but the lume is quite capable too IMO. I only wish they'd put some lume on the hour markers as well.

I like mine, besides the awesome LED light, the one-touch STW start is very handy in my book.

    Re: GA-800

I find my GA-800 has become one of my favorite G-Shocks. I prefer the mid-size of the GA-800 over the GA-100. Put a combi bracelet on the GA-800 and it goes to the next level.

I thought I read somewhere that the strap attachment on the GA-800 was like the GX56 with screws not spring bars?

It has the normal gshock springbar attachment.

I've had mine on a gw5000 strap for a long time now.

    Re: GA-800

A couple more questions, 1, Does the GA 800 need to be registered for any kind of warranty work. 2, What Jay and Kay's adapters fit the GA 800.
    Thanks in advance.
